We Are Change SB was founded in 2018 by Luis Ojeda. New to the city, Luis was dismayed by all the blight and social issues, however realized how much beauty and potential San Bernardino has. So rather than sit back and complain, he rose to action. Swiftly creating a grass roots community movement to get up and work hard to fix issues within the city. From organizing vast clean ups, revitalizing parks, improving roads, to frequently speaking at council meetings to advocate for local issues, Luis and his organization have made drastic improvements throughout the city. And they’re efforts have only just begun! The creation of SB FoodFest is yet another community project, initiated out of a strong belief that we as residents can and will create positive change.
